LinenSpa Mattress Protector Deep Pocket 100% Waterproof & Dust Mite Protection, QUEEN. I DID NOT KNOW UNTIL NOW, BUT MY DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW RECEIVED THE WRONG
ITEM. THEY RECEIVED ONE THAT WAS A TOPPER NOT WITH THE POCKETS. I BOUGHT IT FOR HER FOR A CHRISTMAS GIFT AND FINALLY ASKED HER HOW SHE LIKED IT, NORMALLY SHE THANKS ME.... AND SHE TOLD ME THAT THEY CANNOT USE IT. HOW DISAPPOINTING!!!
Bad return policy + not great for dust mites. If you take this cover out of the packaging, then they won't let you return or exchange it unless it has a defect. This doesn't make any sense-- you don't know how it feels until you take it out. They should at least have some note on the package telling you that, rather than finding out when you try to return it through Amazon. Lame. Also, I am pretty sure that a mattress cover has to fully encase the mattress to act as an effective barrier to dust mite allergens, though I am not positive about that. I am not sure what sort of standards a product has to meet to claim that it provides dust mite protection, but it seems a little dubious with this product.
Too hot and it doesn't breathe. They claim this pillow cover is breathable, but it only breathes at the zipper. Otherwise, it billows like a balloon up whenever I put my head on it, and then the air slowly seeps out the zipper. And this happens whenever I shift my position. It has a rubberized inner coating to make it waterproof, and that also makes it very hot. I've been waking up with my face and neck soaked in perspiration, and it's been quite cold outside. It isn't all that noisy compared to some waterproof pillow protectors, but cotton with a waterproof treatment is quieter. And it probably is waterproof, but only if you don't mind the heat and the fact that it isn't breathable.

Until I get a new one, we sleep with towels under the sheets to do something, instead of waking up in a cold sweat! I use 700 t.c. cotton sheets. It is a true barrier from your mattress but too hot! The cotton top on the protector is paper thin so no absorbency. If you get hot easily at night I would not recommend this project.
Wouldn't buy again. The problem with these covers are that they have a terry type cover so that it is hard to get a regular pillow case over them. You have to really stuff the pillows in. Other than that they seem fine.
